A SUSTAINABLE SEASON
At Ashridge House, we are deeply committed to sustainability and are proud to share that by October 1, 2024, Ashridge House will source 100% of its electricity from renewable sources through Drax Energy Solutions. We have already significantly reduced our reliance on diesel-powered generators for our 2024 lights trail, with approximately half of the trail powered by green renewable energy. For future years, we are exploring the use of battery-powered generators, which can be charged during the daytime using green electricity, to power the trail entirely with renewable energy.
